Artists at Work
Take a look at our daffodils drawings. We learned the poem The Daffodils by William Wordsworth and responded to it with this Artwork. There are some budding artists in this classroom, their artwork brightens up our classroom.

Seachtain na Gaeilge
There was a lot happening in school last week to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge. As well as taking part in all of the school events, 3rd and 4th Class had their own ceoilchoirm sa ranga ar an Aoine. Bhà dánnta, amhráin, sean nós, feadóg stáin agus rince againn. Everybody took part. We are a very talented bunch and Ms. Kelly and Joan were very impressed.

Starburst Hearts
First and Second class created their own starburst hearts!

Seachtain na Gaeilge
The children had a great time on Wednesday. They made a huge effort dressing up in green, white and orange to celebrate being Irish! They took part in the céile and ceolchoirm as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge.

World Book Day
We had a readathon to celebrate World Book Day and our love of reading. Well done to these avid readers who won our readathon, they put in fantastic effort to make reading a priority over the last fortnight. Enjoy the Easter eggs!

Engineers Week 2018
The challenge for 5th and 6th class pupils was to create a structure that could hold a 1 Kg bag of sugar using 200 cocktail sticks and 50 jellytots. Have a look at our efforts. While solving problems and improving our design, we also had a lot of fun. The winning design could hold the bag of sugar for over 1 minute which we thought was impressive!
