A fantastic day of fun in the beautiful sunshine!

We had a great day in the McWilliam this week for the Junior Entrepreneur Programme Showcase Day. Thanks to CMS Kiltimagh for sponsoring this worthwhile programme. A group of our 5th and 6th class delivered a presentation to a packed McWilliam Park Hotel and they did a great job representing our school. Well done also to Padraic and Jack who spoke to Tommy Marren of Midwest and were live on air. To top it off, we got to meet Andy Moran and Donal Vaughan!

We held a fundraising cake sale recently in our classroom. We had a busy day selling to all our customers. Thanks to our parents and grandparents for the delicious home baking and for making it a success.

Third and Fourth class were making the most of the nice weather and our beautiful surroundings here in Barnacarroll. On Friday 5th May we set off on a class walk around the area. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and nature as we made our way around. It was lovely to be out in the fresh air.

We had great fun learning how to make fruit kebabs! They were delicious!
